  • Internet Information Server 7.0 (prepared for a uniFLOW OM installation)

Database

  • Included in delivery is the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express (capacity is limited to 4 GB)
  • If the capacity of the Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express is not sufficient, a separate MS SQL Server License is required. The following versions are recommended:
  • SQL Server 2000 (32-bit or 64-bit) + latest service pack
  • SQL Server 2005 (32-bit or 64-bit) + latest service pack
  • SQL Server 2008 (32-bit or 64-bit) + latest service pack

Minimum Hardware Requirements uniFLOW Server

  • 2 GHz Pentium IV Processor
  • 512 MB RAM
  • 2-8 GB of free hard disk space
  • 1024 x 768 screen resolution

System Requirements Internet Gateway

  • Internet connection is needed, preferably broadband, e.g. DSL or cable
  • Dedicated Web server in the Internet configured according to the following specifications:
  • Web server (requires PHP version 4.3 onwards)
  • MySQL 4.x
  • Empty MySQL database

Note:

You can use a WAMP-package instead of installing all components separately. This package contains an Apache Web server, MySQL, and PHP for Windows. It is available free and should be downloaded prior to installation of the Internet Gateway.

Printers based on these languages are normally compatible and accounted correctly. Driver compatibility and driver support, however, is a very important issue, both for the correct accounting in uniFLOW OM and for features like Job Routing, Rule-Based Routing, or Load Balancing.

Although uniFLOW supports many printer drivers for Canon devices, a separately published, regularly updated "Compatibility List" contains the latest information concerning this topic. All printer drivers tested by NT-ware are listed here. Please refer to this Compatibility List for the latest driver support information.
